Little London Haul

OXFORD STREET, HERE I COME!

In London wurde natürlich wie geplant auch ein bisschen eingekauft und siehe da, zwei Sachen kann ich direkt von meiner letzten "Things I want this week" Liste streichen! Ich hab tatsächlich noch das letzte Exemplar dieser wunderschönen Tasche bei Topshop auf der Oxford St ergattern können und bei Boots hab ich mich direkt mit zwei Sugar Crush Body Scrubs und der passenden Creme eingedeckt.
Ansonsten wurde nicht viel erstanden, zwei Paar "Super Cozy Tights" und zwei Kleider von Primark für je £5, super tolle Ankle Boots von Dorothy Perkins (auf 20£ reduziert, yeaaah), ein Pinselset von Real Techniques und ein paar Kleinigkeiten.
Ist zwar nicht allzu viel geworden, dafür bin ich mit den Sachen, die ich letztendlich gekauft habe, umso zufriedener.

Just as planned we did a little shopping while in London and guess what, I can cross two things off my last "Things I want this week" list! I actually got the very last grey version of this beautiful bag at Topshop and at Boots I even bought two pots of my long wanted Sugar Crush Body Scrub plus the matching Body Cream.
Apart from that I didn't buy too much, two pairs of "Super Cozy Tights" and two dresses from Primark, gorgeous Ankle Boots from Dorothy Perkins (reduced to 20£,yeaaaah), brushes from Real Techniques and some other minor stuff.

Ein paar meiner Lieblingsbilder, die wir an Tag 2 in London geschossen haben. Wir hatten so gute Laune an dem Tag und dementsprechend eine tolle Zeit, dass wir da auch die meisten der richtig tollen Fotos geknipst haben.

Postcards from: England | London (day 1)

Endlich mal wieder ein kleiner Trip, ich hab das Reisen so vermisst. Ziel: meine Lieblingsstadt mit meiner LieblingsCaro (waren immerhin schon wieder vier Monate, seit wir uns das letzte Mal gesehen haben!).
War nur leider nicht ganz so, wie wir uns es vorgestellt haben. Wir sind wieder couchgesurft um Geld für die Unterkunft zu sparen und sind diesmal unerwarteterweise nur sehr beengt mit "interessanten" Mitsurfern im gleichen Zimmer untergekommen, wirklich sauber wars auch nicht unbedingt und ne Dusche (oder Duschkopf!!!) gabs auch nicht. Das war jetzt die nette Schilderung, Dementsprechend war unsere Laune ein bisschen im Keller und wir haben es nur einen Tag richtig geschafft, das Gefühl von Ungewaschenheit abzuschütteln und richtig gut drauf zu sein. Hallo miefige Miesmuscheln!
Nichts desto trotz konnte London natürlich wieder mit ganzer Pracht überzeugen und ich wär am liebsten dageblieben. Irgendwann werd ich da wohnen. Irgendwann.

Finally a little trip again, I missed travelling so much. Destination: my favourite city with my favourite Caro (who I missed, too. Long time no see, four month are way too long!).
Well, that was the idea, but didnt really turn out the way we imagined it. To save some money we couchsurfed again, unfortunately this time only more or less successful. "Interesting" fellow surfers and sleeping in the tiniest little room with them, it wasn't clean either and no shower (or even shower head!!!) in sight. Let's leave it at that.
Consequently we weren't in the best mood and we only managed to really enjoy being in London for a little while. Heeeello Grumpy!
Anyway, London itself was awesome as always AND as per usual I didn't want to leave. Someday I'll live there.

1. Ich hab wirklich keine ordentliche große Tasche mehr, nachdem ich in Kalifornien hauptsächlich mit winzigen Täschchen durch die Gegend gerannt bin... zurück in Deutschland brauch ich irgendwie viel mehr Sachen bei mir, komisch. Die hier ist jedenfalls von Topshop und hats mir wirklich angetan, sooo schön, wa?!
I don't really have a nice big bag anymore after only using tiny little purses while living in California... It's weird, but since I'm back in Germany again I tend to carry around so much more stuff again. This one is from Topshop and I am soo taken with it, that baby is pretty, huh?!

2. Die Ringe sind auch von Topshop, kommen im Doppelpack und sind momentan sogar im Sale für relativ wenig Geld zu erstehen! Irgendwie haben die was.
These rings are from Topshop, too. They come in a set and you can get them on sale right know for not even that much money! They really do have something special, I don't know.

3. Auf den Sugar Crush Body Scrub von Soap&Glory bin ich schon ziemlich lange scharf, vorallem weil ich in so vielen Youtube Videos davon gehört habe und alle in den höhsten Tönen davon schwärmen. Wenn ich im März mit Caro für ein Wochenende in London bin, werd ich endlich zuschlagen und mich selbst überzeugen.
I have been keen on the Sugar Crush Body Scrub by Soap&Glory for such a long time, especially because I've heard so many awesome reviews of it on Youtube. When I'm in London in March with Caro I will finally buy it and try it myself.

4. Hier könnte ich eigentlich den Text oben einfach nur kopieren, über die Liz-Earle-Produkte hab ich auch über Youtube erfahren (ich mein bei Zoella hab ich das erste Mal davon gehört) und muss sie unbedingt haben!!! Allerdings ist der Versand nach Deutschland unnötig teuer, also wird der Hot Cloth Cleanser auch in London ershoppt!
Here I could just copy the above because I've also heard about the Liz Earle products on Youtube (I think I first herad about them from Zoella) and I haaave to have them!!! But the shipping costs to Germany are ridiculously expensive, so I'm going to buy the Hot Cloth Cleanser in London, too!

Saturday, 4 weeks ago.

SAN FRANCISCO, SEP 15TH

Mein allerletztes Wochenende in Kalifornien habe ich mit meiner Freundin komplett in San Francisco verbracht, hier sind ein paar der Bilder, die ich an dem Samstag gemacht habe. Ich werd wirklich ein bisschen sentimental wenn ich sie mir jetzt angucke, aber wir hatten so eine super Zeit zusammen, dass ich hauptsächlich froh bin, dass ich so eine einmalige und wunderbare Erfahrung machen konnte.

While still in California, I decided to spend my last weekend in San Francisco with my really good friend,
these are some of the pictures from Saturday. I'm getting a bit sentimental just looking at them, but we had such a great time together that I'm mostly glad that I was lucky enough to be able to experience something that wonderful and unique.

Hope you enjoy it at least half as much as I do!

OOTD, Oct. 18th

ZURÜCK IN DER REALITÄT 

Und das schon seit genau 4 Wochen... die Zeit geht einfach wahnsinnig schnell vorbei und ich bin wirklich überrascht, dass ich schon so lange wieder zurück in Deutschland bin. Es hat sich gleichzeitig viel und überhaupt nichts verändert und je mehr ich zwischen meinen alten Möbeln und Kinderbüchern sitze, desto mehr bekomme ich das Gefühl, ab nächsten Montag wieder in die Schule gehen zu müssen. Dass ich letzten Monat noch über die Golden Gate Bridge gelaufen bin, kommt mir vor wie ein Traum und nach dem ersten großen Tief in dem ich nach meiner Ankunft hier war, gehts so wie es aussieht jetzt langsam aber sicher wieder voran...

Back in reality and that already since 4 weeks... time just flies and I'm totally surprised, that I'm really back in Germany since such a long time. So much and nothing has changed at the same time and the more I'M sitting in between my old furniture and childrens books the more I feel like I have to back to school next week... that I walked over the Golden Gate Bridge just a month ago seems like a dream. But after the first few weeks of feeling really sorry for myself it looks like everything is going in the right direction again...
